NEEDED...  A Copy of your DD214 OR PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY:

Should you Join Post 12, or any Legion Post, it is required by Legion Charter to file a copy of your DD214 or Proof of Eligibility.  Post 12 maintains  a copy of an applicants DD-214 or Proof of Eligibility, for the purpose of expediting benefits and services on behalf of the member or their family.   Proof of Eligibility such as a photo copy of your current military ID for those on active duty,  is all that is needed.

The information that you submit is required by the American Legion National, and will not be supplied to any other party.   Post 12 will also advise American Legion National of your membership status.
Post 12 holds the Regular Post Meetings, on the 4th Friday of the month, starting at 8 PM. At that time, you would be sworn in as a new member.  (If this is your first post to join).
